| Recently someone who had purchased a DVD set including the Large
HighWheel Bicycle video wanted to know how much I charged for the Large
HighWheel. They had just finished one and had a buyer, but didn't
know how much to charge.
So let's talk about pricing. I'll give you my prices, but
depending on where you live you may want to adjust your prices upward from
mine.
Prices here in Southern Indiana are somewhat depressed although one
could not find a more beautiful place to live.
Keep in mind that for some of the smaller pieces like wands, golf
sculptures, bicycles etc. I have to make these in multiples in order to
offer them at these prices.
For example the small bicycles. I can make fifty small bicycles
in 10 hours. Some of these would be the little stand ups with the
kick stand and some would be to add to pieces like the Ride in the Park or
the Sit & Sip.
For the small Magic Wands I could completely finish a hundred in three
days. The large ones took four days.
I didn't reach those numbers when I first started with a new piece.
It took some time to work out all the kinks and become efficient.
Those numbers also represent hard stick to it work. I definitely
don't work that hard these days.
I wouldn't even recommend trying to do those numbers. It takes
the fun out of it!
