Cattail Wall Sculpture by George Goehl

The joining of materials is mostly brazing, although there are a few parts you may want to gas weld.

Included is a mini course on gas welding.

As in all the videos this is step by step instruction.  You'll be working along with each step of the process.

Although I wasn't thinking of it at the time, today there is a big interest in "Cabin Furnishings".  This piece would fit perfectly in a rustic cabin beside a lake or pond.

The steps are very simple:

  • You'll be cutting the material

  • Brazing,

  • Forming the leaves

  • Laying out your design,

  • Assembling (brazing & welding)

Included are instructions on how to make a base for a cattail table sculpture.

There is a lot of versatility here, you'll be able to make many cattail designs using the techniques shown.
