Another good title for these bikes would be "Miles and Miles of Smiles.
They've certainly brought a lot of smiles to people's faces.

What we have here is the boys bike, the girls bike, the tandem, the
mountain bike and the "Love Bikes".
The basic boys bike can be used as a stand alone table top bicycle or it
can be used in a scene such as the Ride in the Park or the Sit & Sip.

The girls bike is the same, as a standing bike or
incorporated into a wall scene.
Then there is the tandem. It also can be used as a table top
bicycle or in a scene. There is a lot of interest in tandems and
for the tandem cyclist I sometimes put a tandem on the Sit & Sip.

Same with the mountain bike.
Now we add the bike rack. The bike racks add another dimension.
Although when I was doing cycling exhibits I offered the small bicycles
without the racks, most generally they were purchased as a bike
and rack combination.

Now it comes to the "Love Bikes", which I've unexpectedly found to be
very popular with brides and their wedding cakes.

The Love bikes are a variation on the theme with a girls bike, a boys
bike, a bike rack with a heart on top the rack.
To top it all off, these bikes are quite easy to do and use the same
basic material for all the bicycles.

When I made my first two or three small bikes back in the early 80's, I
hand formed the handlebars. It was time consuming, and the
results were less than perfect.
I thought to myself, "this is ridiculous, there must be a better way".
So, I came up with a simple fixture to form the handlebars so that they
are all the same in shape and dimension.
The fixture and how to make it is in the video.
